Lifelike
Synopsis

ROGER QUINN, the new kid in town, goes to his new school with high hopes of finally being cool. Unfortunately, being a classic horror film geek isn’t cool at this school, either. His younger sister COLLEEN has to save him from being pummeled during recess— the icing on the cake, really.

But his fortunes turn when he gets home. His Mom, tired of being snubbed by the snooty neighbors, has gone all out with Halloween decorations for the yard. Zombies, Demon Bats, Werewolves, Skeletons, Spiders, and the centerpiece, a grisly Witch stirring a cauldron; all part of Mom’s master plan to win over the neighbors. It’s a dream come true for Roger, and he and his sister invite everyone at school.

But Roger begins to realize that something is up with these decorations. Maybe it was the freak lightening storm, or the cursed past of the “Lifelike” corporation, but these creatures have a mind of their own. They’re slowly transforming into true beasts, with an eye towards devouring the neighborhood on Halloween. And Roger’s family was nice enough to bring the meal to the monsters by having the party.

Can Roger convince his family to call off the party before it’s too late? Will Roger figure out how to fight and thwart the monsters? If he doesn’t, he may be the only one on November 1st who doesn’t look Lifelike.
